This is a common question and giving answers to which are our favourite London hikes isn’t easy. So here are just a few of our hike leaders favourite routes.
SEVEN SISTERS WALK (SEAFORD TO EASTBOURNE), EAST SUSSEX
The adventurous hiker who willing to tackle a few ups and downs will be rewarded with some classic British coastal views. The route is energetic as it requires many ups and downs as you pass over the seven sisters. We starting at Seaford, the route follows the grassy tops of the Seven Sisters, a series of undulating chalk-white cliffs, past a candy-cane-striped lighthouse at Beachy Head and through to the quintessentially British seaside town of Eastbourne. We stop along the way for a packed lunch and save the indulgence for crunchy fried things for our final stop – a well-deserved post-walk treat best devoured on the waterfront or in a warm pub.
