Location
Ross Rowing Club camping site provides the perfect setting to appreciate Ross on Wye, the river and the Wye Valley. We are situated by the river and very close (walking distance) to the town centre.
The two designated camping areas are within our 12-acre site and allow for both quiet camping and an area for large groups. Both camping areas are fenced off and gated to provide limited security. They are happy to accommodate RVs, mobile homes, camper vans and caravans.
Facilities
The toilet facilities are available inside the clubhouse – please note that the clubhouse is approx—100 meters from the camping areas. The clubhouse (including showers, changing rooms and toilets) are not available when the club’s junior rowers are training.
These sessions are normally at the weekend from midday to 5 pm and weekday sessions – Monday 5 pm – 8 pm, Wednesday 5 pm – 8 pm and Friday 5 pm – 7 pm (This is to comply with the Club’s & British Rowing’s safeguarding children policies). Experience has shown that this has hardly any impact on our time at the location.

Directions
The campsite is directly on the River Wye, adjacent to the market town of Ross-on-Wye. Within easy reach of the A40/M50. Please be aware that this postcode takes you to a park just off of Trenchard Street, at the side of Ross-on-Wye town centre then look for the iron post showing rowing club 290m. When approaching Metcalfe Close, you will pass by a row of houses on your left, then between to stone gate pillars. Follow the road through the park until you reach the Rowing Club Gates.
