Location
Originally two stone farm cottages and a barn, Boswinger has been refurbished as one building. Built around a courtyard, this is one of the YHA oldest venues in Cornwall and stands in the centre of the quiet, seaside hamlet of Boswinger, with sea views and a wide choice of beaches.
Being so close to the sea provides ample hiking routes as well as the opportunity to enjoy an early morning or evening dip in the sea, weather permitting.
Facilities
Having originally been two cottages the internal rooms are modest, but the outside courtyard is sheltered from the breeze and makes an ideal location for an alfresco breakfast or dinner.
The recently refurbished dining room overlooks the back garden and has dining tables seating up to 38 guests, with French windows offering access to the garden where further outdoor dining is available.
A cosy lounge is furnished with sofas and armchairs and is accessed via the main entrance lobby. It is connected to the dining room via a passageway with a food service bar which guests are free to make use of.
There are washbasins in every room, plus showers and toilets throughout the hostel.
