Location
Nestling in the Welsh Marches on the edge of a historic market town, this cosy and comfortable YHA Kington is perfect for hiking weekend away exploring this region’s idyllic villages and rolling countryside. Situated on the Offa’s Dyke Path, the hostel is great for walking holidays, as well as canoeing or even pony trekking in cider country.
Kington is located close to Hay-on-Wye, famous for its book festival and it is also in the shadow of the northern side of the Brecon Beacons, famous for its arduous mountain range where the UK elite military forces complete gruelling route marches. We also offer hikes that venture into the Brecon’s as well as modest hikes in the local area.
