Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, YHA Isle of Wight Totland is a seaside village location and a perfect base for coastal hikes
Newport, the Island Capital, just a 20-minute drive away with a ferry port only minutes away and the main port of Cowes only a 20-30 minute drive as well. Making this a very accessible destination and an ideal spot from which to explore the island, especially the Needles, which are on the doorstep.
Colwell Bay, the Needles Pleasure Park and Alum Bay are all within walking distance, easily reached for a day out. We especially enjoy the walks on the downs or the clifftop path followed by an ice-cream on the pier or maybe dip in the sea for the brave.
Facilities
This 48 bed Youth Hostel has a selection of dorm beds and private rooms available. Relax in the well-kept guest garden or get comfortable with a good book in our well-stocked library/quiet lounge before indulging in dinner in the spacious dining room.
The main lounge is on the first floor and offers plenty of comfortable seating. There is also a lounge on the ground floor which has a TV, books and games. There is also our classroom that comfortably sits 60 people.
Two bedrooms have en-suite shower/toilets. Additionally, there are 4 toilets and 3 showers plus 2x shower/toilet rooms suitable for people with disabilities. But don’t forget to bring your own towels.
